In the days following the violence that broke out on 3 May in Manipur, Meiteis and Kukis, whose homes were reduced to ashes and rubble, sought refuge in relief camps. One year on, even as they share their trials and tribulations of the year gone by, they wonder if things will be any different for them in the near future.
